Dental Implants

If you have lost one or more teeth, you may qualify for dental implants. Now considered the gold standard for tooth replacement, dental implants can restore form and function, prevent bone loss, and deliver long-lasting results. Each implant is a small titanium post inserted into the jaw, where it serves as an anchor for a dental prosthesis. These replacement teeth are tailor-made by your dentist and designed to look just like your natural teeth.

All-on-4 Treatment Concept

If you have lost a number of teeth, then you may be a good candidate for All-on-4® dental implants. This advanced dental implant option can provide restoration for an entire arch of teeth, or even your whole smile, using a minimal number of implants. This method can expedite your recovery time and prevent the amount of time required for your surgery.

Bone Grafting

The loss of a tooth is often accompanied by the loss of bone. When you have insufficient jaw bone, it can be difficult to anchor dental implants in place, complicating your dental restoration. Bone grafting is a simple oral surgery procedure in which your doctor can regenerate bone tissue where you need it the most. Bone grafting can be an essential way to prepare you for a safe, successful dental implant surgery.

Wisdom Teeth Removal

When left in place, the wisdom teeth may cause long-term problems, such as overcrowding. Often, the best approach is to have your wisdom teeth removed at a young age. Our oral surgeons are experienced in the safe and expedient removal of wisdom teeth for all ages.

Facial Trauma Reconstruction

Facial trauma can occur due to an automotive accident, an injury in the workplace, or even a sports-related incident. It can include damage to the jaw, damaged or missing teeth, lesions, and more. Our oral surgeons are experienced in furnishing emergency care, if you have sustained facial trauma, and full functional and aesthetic restoration.

Sinus Lift

Some of the roots of your upper teeth extend up to the maxillary sinuses, which are above your upper teeth and behind your cheeks. If you have missing upper teeth, a thin bone wall remains on which it is difficult to place implants. A sinus lift raises the sinus floor and allows new bone to grow.

Impacted Canines

When a tooth is impacted, that means it has not erupted the way it is supposed to, but instead remains trapped within the gum tissue. Impacted teeth can cause a range of issues, including an increased risk of oral infection. For impacted canines, we can carefully expose the tooth, making it possible for your orthodontist to move the tooth into its proper place.

Corrective Jaw Surgery

Orthognathic surgery can be used to reposition the jaw and correct problems with how the upper and lower mandibles align. Through jaw surgery, our oral surgeons can correct a range of common issues, including overbite, underbite, open bite, TMJ disorders, and breathing problems. We also perform jaw surgery to help address facial trauma.

Disorders of the temporomandibular joint can result in chronic pain, migraines, or the inability to operate your jaw as normal. Our oral surgeons can offer a range of treatments, including surgical intervention and Botox injections.

Tooth Extraction

If you have a tooth too damaged or decayed to keep in the smile, the best option is to extract it. A tooth extraction procedure completely removes the tooth and leaves room for replacement options like a dental implant.
