Our Oral Surgery Procedures

MOSAIC provides many types of oral surgery procedures in Clearwater, FL. You can have a consultation with our surgeons to determine which procedures could be right for your oral health needs.

Dental Implants

A dental implant can maintain the integrity of the jawbone and adjacent teeth by functioning like a substitute tooth. Three parts make up the dental implant: the titanium post, the visible porcelain crown, and the abutment that connects the post to the crown.

All-on-4® Treatment Concept

If you are missing many or all of your teeth, the All-on-4® dental implant option can provide a long-lasting solution that does not require multiple surgeries. With this procedure, your surgeon can attach an entire set of lower or upper replacement teeth using as few as four implants.

Bone Grafting

A bone grafting procedure helps with placing dental implants, oral function optimization, and facial structure preservation. The bone graft restores the volume of bone density needed for these purposes.

Sinus Lift

Some of the roots of your upper teeth extend up to the maxillary sinuses, which are above your upper teeth and behind your cheeks. If you have missing upper teeth, a thin bone wall remains on which it is difficult to place implants. A sinus lift raises the sinus floor and allows new bone to grow.

Wisdom Teeth Removal

If your wisdom teeth erupt at an angle or do not appear at all, you can feel discomfort and have a higher risk of developing gum disease. Wisdom teeth removal procedures help fix this so that you can avoid complications later.

Impacted Canines

An impacted tooth is one that is stuck and cannot emerge through the gums. Because your canines are essential to your bite, finding ways of treating the impacted tooth instead of removing it is essential.

Tooth Extraction

If you have a tooth too damaged or decayed to keep in the smile, the best option is to extract it. A tooth extraction procedure completely removes the tooth and leaves room for replacement options like a dental implant.

Corrective Jaw Surgery

Corrective jaw surgery can correct problems with how your upper and lower jaws align. It can help with overbites and underbites, open bites, and TMJ disorders.

Facial Trauma Reconstruction

Facial trauma can involve the teeth, bones, and skin. Reconstruction can help repair these injuries and return your mouth and face to a healthy, functional state.

TMJ Disorders

The TMJ joint is what connects your skull to your jaw. TMJ disorders prevent the joint from working correctly, and there are surgical treatment options that can help.
